Terms of Service
ADEN — Adventure Engine
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using ADEN — Adventure Engine (“ADEN,” “the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
ADEN sells credits redeemable for AI generation actions. Story Mode turns an adventure brief into a finished, fully-illustrated, print-ready adventure book through a five-phase pipeline (outline, art, page composition, and PDF assembly). Encounter Mode forges a single table-ready encounter from a short concept and lets you refine it iteratively.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use ADEN. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
4. Credits and currencies
The Service uses two separate credit currencies: SM (Story Mode credits) and EM (Encounter Mode credits). They are never convertible into each other. Credits are not legal tender, have no cash value, and are non-transferable between accounts. New accounts receive an initial allotment of EM at no charge; SM is paid-only.
5. Pricing and changes
Each generation action has a credit cost (for example, an outline draft, an art image, a page render, PDF assembly, an encounter forge, or a refinement). Per-action costs are shown in the Service and on our Pricing page and may change from time to time; the cost in effect at the moment you start an action is the cost charged.
6. Payments and purchased packs
Credit packs are not yet purchasable — ADEN is currently in private beta. When purchases open, pricing and payment terms for credit packs will be posted on our Pricing page before you can buy them.
7. Failed generations and refunds
If a generation fails, the credit charge for that action is automatically refunded to your balance. For purchased credit packs, refunds are available where required by applicable law, and, as a goodwill policy, for unused credits within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have already been spent on completed generations are not refundable outside of the failed-generation refund described above.
8. Ownership of your work
You own the adventures, encounters, illustrations, and other outputs you produce with ADEN. You grant ADEN a license to process the inputs you provide — briefs, prompts, and reference images — solely to generate those outputs and operate the Service.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use ADEN to create or attempt to create unlawful content, or to violate the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the Service.
10. Service provided as-is
ADEN is in private beta and is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Features, availability, and output quality may change as the Service develops.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — TBD], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes and contact
